Yeh Mard Bechara review: Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan had said a line in his film,’Mard Ko does not hurt…’. This line has already been said a few decades ago, but for men, this view of society is many centuries old. In this world of women and men, we have been training unknowingly men to become more men than men and men have to face a lot to become this ‘man’. This is what the society is looking for in director Anup Thapa’s film ‘Yeh Mard badhara’. Yeh Mard Bechara review is releasing in theaters tomorrow i.e. November 19th. Here’s how it is, this movie adorned with legendary artists.
Story: this is the story of a boy named Shivam who lives with his family in Faridabad. Shivam’s father makes it clear that the tradition of his family is that the mustache is a sign of men and that he too must be kept. Shiva, who respects the father, does this but does not get girls from him because of the mustache. In this film, everyone is trying to explain to Shivam what a real man should be like.
In this mustache affair, Shiva does not find his girlfriend Shivalika. Shivam does all the work from making the body to shaving the mustache to get Shivalika, but in the middle of all this effort, he continues to get advice like ‘what to do to be a man’ again and again. Now you have to watch the movie to find out what happens next in this story.
In Hindi cinema, many films have been made to show the pain and misery of women, which have been filmed in a very serious way. But men always hear words like being tough, not crying, ‘fattu’ when weak, wear bangles… Movies also show the same ‘Machoman’ as ‘hero’ who kills, protects wife or girlfriend.. But director Anup Thapa’s ‘Yeh Mard badhara’ tells a different story. In a dialogue, Shivam’s sister is seen saying, ‘ Whenever someone bothered me, Shivam bhaiya did not kill her, but gave me the courage to fight my own fight. They did not protect me but made me capable of protecting myself…’ and that’s a different thing in this story.
Brijendra Kala plays a key role in this film.
Men are often taught to be emotionless or less emotional, but we forget that they are trained not to cry and not to keep their emotions from childhood. In this case, the view of this world for men is of its own kind. Training to make men ‘ men ‘ has been going on for years. The good thing about the story is that it’s a comedy so you laugh and understand a lot of important things. The issue has been shown not in a heavy style but in a light-hearted manner.
The film stars Seema PAVA, Atum Srivastava, Brijendra Kala and veteran actors who have done a good job as always. Seema Pawa and Manoj Pahwa’s daughter manukriti Pahwa are making their debut in this film. Manukriti is seen playing the role of her real mother Seema Pahwa’s daughter-in-law in the film. Manukri has a lot of potential which he should definitely use in further films. The lead actor in the film is Viraj Rao who can be said to be the weakest link in the film. Viraj has been seen acting loud in many places. At the same time, it is as strong as the subject and he is also responsible for delivering it to the audience, but he could not fully lift it. Shivam is shown to be 22 years old but he is not able to look that much. At the same time, Rudra, an important friend of Shivam, was also extremely weak. The climax of the film is also quite loose. In a competition in which Shiva did not even participate, he finally comes on stage and starts giving speech. It sounds quite childish.
Seema Pahwa is seen as the mother-in-law of her real daughter manukriti.
Overall, this is a good topic that you should watch. With the comedy’s dose, it also drinks a lot of bitter medicine lightly. However on this subject it could have been put even more correctly. I am going to give two and a half stars to this film, but I am giving half a star for the idea that the film is woven around. So this movie 3 stars by my side.
