Sooryavanshi Full Movie: No story, no logic, action in Akshay-Katrina film is not strong Suryavanshi Review: No story, no logic, action in Akshay-Katrina film is not strong
Katrina Kaif’s character in the film is treated as women in a male dominated society.
No story, no logic, action in Akshay-Katrina’s ‘Suryavanshi’ is also not strong
There is a scene in the film where a police officer gives Akshay Kumar a gun to kill the country’s enemy instead of targeting himself. There are other similar scenes in the film where the hero has been tried to be ‘hero’.
Even if the story and logic are expected to be removed in the film, the action sequence is not strong enough to lift the film on its shoulders. Like the old films of Rohit Shetty, there are cars flying, cylinders bursting, there is a chase scene on the water, there is a helicopter in the sky… But there is nothing fun.
Katarina Kaif’s character has been treated in such a way that women are treated in a male-dominated society. Katrina is not given much dialogues. Her and Akshay Kumar’s love story have been scrapped in a song.
The film features a philosophy based on the country’s enemy theme, ‘Good Muslims and bad Muslims’. The dialogue in the film is – ” in this country as much hate is for Kasab, as much love is for Kalam.”Muslims and Hindus come together to stop the terror attack. However, the film never gives an answer to why the responsibility to prove its loyalty should be only on a community.
5 out of 2.5 Quint to’ Suryavanshi’!
