Maruti Suzuki, the country’s largest carmaker, may soon launch its Vitara Breza SUV with a CNG kit. On the one hand, the running cost of the car will suffice. Pollution on the other hand will also be less. Currently, Maruti Suzuki sells the Vitara Brezza with only one petrol engine. Previously, this SUV was only available in diesel variant. Once the CNG variant is launched, buyers will have several options for the Vitara Brezza.

The Brezza SUV has been seen being tested with CNG kits in several places. However, the company has not yet made an official announcement about the CNG variant of this SUV. Currently, the company is providing S-CNG kits with Alto, WagonR, 7-seater Ertiga. It is said that this Brezza CNG will also have a 1.5 liter K15 natural aspirated engine. The CNG version will generate 91 bhp of power at 6000rpm and 122 Nm of torque at 4,400rpm. The car will be offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 4-speed torque converter.
