Digital Desk, New Delhi. Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India’s (HMSI) Shine 125 is a very popular bicycle in India. This bike is very popular not only in the city but also in the rural areas. But the company has given a shock to the customers who buy this bike. In fact, the company has increased the price of Honda Shine by Rs 1,072. This is the second time in two months that bike prices have gone up.

Following the price hike, the Honda Shine now has a starting price of Rs 71,550. The drum break variant comes in this price. At the same time, the disc brake variant is priced at Rs 76,346 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Honda Shine comes in four color variants including Black, Gray, Blue and Red.
The Honda Shine 125 received new DC headlamps, an integrated headlamp beam and a passing switch. As for the braking system, the bike has 5-step adjustable rear suspension and combi brake system (CBS).
Engine and power
The Honda Shine 125 is powered by a BS6 125cc engine, which is powered by fuel. This engine is more powerful than the old Honda CB Shin. This engine generates 10.72 bhp of power at 7500 rpm and peak torque of 10.9Nm at 6,000 rpm. This engine is given Enhanced Smart Power (ESP) with Silent Starter. The company says the bike is 14 percent more fuel efficient due to the new 125cc engine.
