Hero MotoCorp will soon launch an electric scooter, Pawan Munjal shows its glimpse

New Delhi Hero MotoCorp has unveiled the first glimpse of its upcoming electric scooter. The world’s largest two-wheeler maker, which celebrated its tenth anniversary on Monday, is all set to launch its first electric model for the Indian market soon. Pawan Munjal, chairman of Hero MotoCorp, was seen standing next to a new electric scooter during the company’s 10-year livestream celebration. Hero MotoCorp did not share much information about the upcoming electric scooter. However, during the event, Munjal said that the scooter will be introduced to customers soon.

Hero Motors Scooter Design – The design of the electric scooter looks quite thin in the version shown in the teaser. It comes in white and black colors, flyscreen and a curved body design with a long seat, which is comfortable for two people. Electric scooters have 12-inch tires on the front and 10-inch tires on the rear.

This is how the journey of the electric scooter began – in April this year, Hero MotoCorp signed an agreement with the Taiwanese company Gogoro to share battery swaps and technical features. The design of this company’s new electric scooter is very different from Gogoro’s electric scooter. The one-sided swinggram provided in it, to some extent, matches the Bajaj Chetak.

These electric scooters will compete – this teaser from Hero MotoCorp comes just days before the launch of the Ola electric two-wheeler. In addition to Ola, when Hero’s new electric scooter is launched, the Bajaj Chetak will compete with the Electric Ather 450X and the TVS IKUB. Sales of the Hero MotoCorp electric scooter are expected to begin later this year or early next year.
