Truth of Pulwama attack accepted in Pakistan Parliament: Modi

0

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that the truth of last year’s terrorist attack in Pulwama was accepted in the Parliament of Pakistan. Forty Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans were killed in the attack. The Prime Minister made this point in his address to the gathering here after paying homage to the Statue of Unity on the 145th birth anniversary of the country’s first Home Minister Sardar Balbhai Patel.

The Prime Minister also said that when the entire country was angry after the Pulwama attack, some people were doing ‘selfish and arrogant politics’. Mr. Modi’s statement comes at a time when Pakistan’s Science and Technology Minister Fawad Chaudhry had recently admitted in the Parliament that his country was responsible for the 2019 terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama. The two countries were close to war after the attack.

Now in the kisan struggle, the resonance of the new ordinance

0

The smoke of the new ordinance issued by the Central Government to tackle air pollution was today a wake-up sign in the farmers’ movement in Punjab. The farmers’ parties have termed the ordinance as a new central move. Farmers in the struggle against the Central Agricultural Laws are calling the new ordinance a process of salting wounds. It may be mentioned that the new ordinance has been implemented with immediate effect in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and UP, with a provision of five years imprisonment and a fine of One Crore rupees. The Total Hind Kisan Sangharsh Coordination Committee has termed the ordinance as anti-farmer. Dr. The national committee issued by Darshan Pal said that the ordinance was issued with the intention of teaching the farmers a lesson which the Central Government is also paving the way for the government to escape from its responsibility. This ordinance will be a means of establishing super authority over the state government. The leaders say that this ordinance is a strategy to put farmers in the dock by issuing straw fire. The Central Government has taken a cruel path rather than finding a solution to pollution. The need was to provide alternatives to straw management and financial assistance was given to the farmers. Today, the new ordinance echoed in Punjab in a gathering of farmers sitting at two dozen railway stations besides toll plazas and reliance pumps. BKU (Dakonda) State President Buta Singh Burj Gill today held the central government’s bad spirit responsible for the new ordinance at a farmer’s gathering at Rampura railway station. He said that rice straw pollution is only 15 days which is only 6 per cent. He argued that the crops of farmers all year long give oxygen to cut the remaining pollution.

The leader said that the Central Government has targeted the farmers alone. Kisan Labour Struggle Committee President Surendra Singh Pannu told a farmer gathering in Amritsar district today that the central government is targeting the farmers of Punjab through new ordinances, while only 6% of the pollution of agriculture is there. He said the government has run away from providing compensation to farmers for straw management and has taken the path of imprisonment and fine. Senior BCU (Sidhupur) leader Kaka Singh Kotra today made the farmers aware of the new ordinance and termed the Centre’s move as a conspiracy against farmers.

Farmers will not get benefit of interest waiver scheme
Keeping out of the scope of the scheme for crop loans, tractors and other equipment

* The borrowers will benefit from eight categories like housing, education, credit card balance etc.

* The exchequer will be burdened with a burden of 6500 crore rupees

* Borrowers who do not avail of the Moratorium Scheme will also be promised exgratia

New Delhi, Oct 30

The Finance Ministry has made it clear that loans taken for agriculture and other activities related to it are not eligible for interest waiver scheme on interest announced by the government last week. Therefore, farmers who have taken loans for agricultural activities or tractors or other equipment will not be benefited by the scheme. It may be recalled that the government had recently announced to waive interest on loans up to Two Crore rupees, but the Finance Ministry today clarified that this relief would not apply to loans for agriculture or tractors. The interest waiver scheme announced on the directions of the Supreme Court will burden the exchequer with a burden of Rs 6500 crore. The scheme will also benefit the borrowers who continue to pay the loan instalments without availing the Moratorium scheme. The Department of Financial Services (DFS) issued an additional list of commonly asked questions (FAQS) saying, ‘Agriculture and other activities related to it such as loans for crops and loans for tractors and other equipment etc. will not be covered under the ‘Interest on Interest Waiver Scheme’. The department said that eligible borrowers whose loan balance will not exceed Rs 2 crore by February 29, 2020 will be paid as exgratia for the period of six months (March 1 to August 31, 2020) for the period of six months (1st March to 31st August 2020). According to the Finance Ministry, the exgratia in the accounts of eligible borrowers will be paid by November 5, far before Diwali. The scheme will benefit borrowers for housing loans, education loans, credit card balances, vehicle loans, MSME loans, consumer durable loans and consumer goods. The Finance Ministry said that the borrowers will also get the benefit of this scheme for credit card balance by February 29. The FAQs say that the benchmark rate for this relief will be the rate of agreement, which is used by the credit card issuer for EMI loans. All the institutions that lend under the scheme will transfer the difference between the variable interest and the normal interest to the eligible borrowers in their accounts. The above amount will be transferred to the account of the borrowers even if they have availed the full or temporary benefit of the Loan Moratorium Scheme announced by the RBI on 27th March, 2020. All banks covered under the scheme and NBFCS will file claims with the Central Government for withdrawal of the amount spent after making this payment to the borrowers. The government made it clear that it is not legally obliged to pay this and in view of the Covid-19 inflation, it is only a payment made to the borrowers as exgratia. -IANS/T.S.

Pau experts claim in study on straw burning

The paddy straw which is burnt in Punjab has long been blamed for the smoke and pollution in Delhi and NCR, but a study by The Punjab Khetbari University has claimed that the smoke that is caused by straw burning remains in Punjab. The study has been conducted by the Department of Climate Change and Agriculture, University. The PAU study is based on the wind speed and speed in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

It states that the wind speed should be northwest or only towards the west if the wind speed is more than five km per hour. But in these three years, the wind speed has always been significantly lower than it was for 77 days from October to December 16. The study has shown that the smoke from Punjab can never spread air pollution in Delhi and NCR, 300-350 km away. In three years, the wind speed has been below 5 km per hour for 77 days (1st October to 16th December). The wind speed was 5.9 km per hour on 7th November 2019, but then the wind was towards the south-east.

Dr. Dr. Prabhjot Kaur said that he was continuously studying the toxic fumes that had been rising from 2012 to October. Now they have presented a study based on data from 2017, 2018 and 2019. He was accompanied by Sukhjit Kaur and Sandeep Singh Sandhu. Based on his study, he said that the smoke that was caused by paddy straw burning in Punjab in October does not reach Delhi. The scientific reasons for this are cleared in the study. The experts at PAU who conducted the study said that the smoke, also known as smog, is caused by temperature changes and low air speed.

Power mafia is robbing people blindly: Captain Sarkar : Aman Arora

Chandigarh, (Rajmanjit) – The Captain Amarinder Singh government is blindly plundering the people of Punjab by the power mafia, which is being run by a coalition of private power companies. This was expressed by senior leader and MLA Aman Arora. In a statement issued from party headquarters, senior party leader and MLA Aman Arora said that punjab is facing serious challenges due to the Amarinder Singh government which failed on every front, which is being paid by all the people of Punjab.

Aman Arora alleged that the Amarinder Singh government had also taken a stake in private thermal plants (Sabo, Rajpura and Goindwal Sahib) of 5 crore rupees per day being paid by Powercom (government) without buying electricity. This is why Captain Amarinder Singh, who promised to cancel the power purchase agreements signed by the badals before the elections, has run away from cancelling the agreements with private thermal plants. Aman Arora said that the cancellation of the power contracts was far from the promise of chief minister Amarinder Singh to issue a white paper on the power purchase agreements. Aman Arora said that if the Amarinder Singh government fails to cancel the agreements with private thermal plants looting people, the work will be done on an initiative basis in 2022 when the Aam Aadmi Party government is formed and the punjab consumers will be provided with cheap electricity like the Kejriwal government.

Allahabad High Court’s big verdict: Conversion not valid only for marriage
The Allahabad High Court said that conversion is not valid for marriage only. The court, while rejecting the plea of the opposite religious couple, has allowed the petitioners to file a statement before the concerned magistrate.

The Allahabad High Court on Friday pronounced a key verdict on the change of religion. The court said that mere conversion of marriage is not valid. The court, while rejecting the plea of the opposite religious couple, has allowed the petitioners to file a statement before the concerned magistrate.

In fact, Yachi had demanded a ban on family people from interfering in their peaceful marital life. The court refused to intervene on the plea of the married couple. The court said that one Yachi Muslim is another Hindu. The girl accepted Hinduism on June 29, 2020 and married a month later on July 31. The court said the record is clear that there has been a change of religion to marry.

The Allahabad High Court referred to the verdict of Noor Jahan Begum case in which the court said it was not acceptable to change religion for marriage. In this case, Hindu girls changed their religion and married a Muslim boy. The question was whether a Hindu girl could change religion and marry a Muslim boy and this marriage would be valid.

The court said it is not acceptable to change religion without knowing about Islam and without faith. The court said it is also against Islam. The court has refused to grant relief to Yachi, who became a Muslim-turned-Hindu. The petition was filed on behalf of Priyanshi alias Samreen and others. A single bench of Justice MC Tripathi pronounced the verdict.

Stunning Yadav tells NDTV, ‘Air-Hawaii is not a promise to provide 10 lakh jobs’

On the opposition’s question on rjd’s election promise and public expectations, ratan Yadav spoke at NDTV’s special programme “Des Ki Baat”.

Madhubani: Tejashwi Yadav Interview on NDTV: All parties campaigning for the second and third phases of Bihar Assembly Elections 2020 in Bihar Assembly elections 2020 have opened a box of their work and promises among the people. Somewhere talking about employment, there is no good governance. Among all these promises in bihar elections and the leader who is most talked about are Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and chief ministerial candidate from grand alliance, Ratan Yadav (Tejashwi Yadav). The stunning promise to provide 10 lakh government jobs to the people of Bihar is a stir in the opposition camp and is expected to be stunning in the minds of the people. It can be said that if a leader is gathering the most in the rally during the election campaign being conducted by the big leaders of all parties, he is at the rallies of the stunning Yadav.

Experts are assuming that the youth of the state is stunning on the issue of employment and is now demanding a change after Nitish Kumar’s 15-year rule. The opposition parties have consistently taken a stand on the promise of the employment of the stunning Yadav and are asking them where they will give 10 lakh government jobs to the youth of the state?

On the opposition’s question on rjd’s election promise and public expectations, ratan Yadav spoke at NDTV’s special programme “Des Ki Baat”.

‘Nitish ji has destroyed everything’
“Nitish Kumar ji is totally tired,” he said. Nitish Ji did not give employment, now anything is being said, Bihar is not going to be careful with him. In Bihar, there are issues, earnings, medicine, education and irrigation, nitish kumarji has all been destroyed. We’ve given a system of that. You will not fill the vacant post. We have made this promise to the public only after a discussion with the economics experts. We could tell you how many numbers. But we have the figures. 4.5 lakh posts are lying vacant. And 5.5 lakh are to come against the national average,” he said.

‘Air-Hawaii thing is not employment promise’
“We don’t want to talk air-air,” Ratan said when comparing PM Modi’s promise to provide 2 crore jobs. Because we have to do long politics. And what is possible, when there is money, is to fill up vacant posts, to bring against the national average. When a man can go to the moon, can’t the factory in Bihar take off? Jobs can’t be filled? We are talking about filling up vacant posts. These are stupid things that have left vacant posts for so many years. ‘

Stunning response to PM Modi’s war
“We have a promise of earning, medicine and education from the people, which we will fulfil,” said Ratan Yadav when he was called the crown prince of corruption by PM Modi. What did Nitish Ji give to Bihar in 15 years? From sugar mills to every factory are closed, we will open. Talking about Jangalraj, you will get out of the crime record and see if you will set up new factories. Will stop migration, also increase employment in farming. Will formulate a new agricultural policy. Laluji gave social justice, we will give economic justice.”

Alliance with Nitish after the results?
On the question of alliance with Nitish after the poll results, Ratan Yadav said, “He had given him a chance but he cheated the people we are confident that the people will give us an absolute majority. Nitish Ji’s priority is his chair, he can do anything for him. Nitish Kumar formed four governments in 4 years. Even if the results come from the Hung Assembly, it will be against Nitish,” he said.

On Nitish Kumar’s language during electioneering, stunning Yadav said he is a blessing to me

Ralosp is originally a vote bank koeri-kushwaha society with a population of close to six per cent, but mayawati and Owaisi are believed to have 8 per cent vote bank.

Considering the 2015 poll figures, ralosp, who was part of the NDA, got 2.6 per cent votes with a total of two seats, while the BSP got 2.1 per cent votes on its own. AIMIM received only 0.2 per cent of the votes, but winning a one-seat bye-election in Seemanchal may now see its strength changed.

Munger violence: Congress leaders meet governor, demand removal of CM Nitish Kumar

The areas of Aurangabad, Kaimur, Sasaram, Shekhupara, Jamui, Munger, East Champaran and Samastipur in south Bihar are considered to be the entry and grip of RALOSP. Similarly, bsp and Mayawati are considered to be a good grip in half a dozen districts, including Sasaram, Kaimur, Gopalganj bordering Uttar Pradesh. Kushwaha and Mayawati have held two election rallies in these areas. In seemanchal areas, particularly in Kishanganj, Araria, Katihar, where Muslims have a good population, the alliance’s influence can be strong, i.e., the alliance can have the support of Koeri Kurmi, Dhauk, Dalit, Muslim and some localities (in Madhubani) Yadav voters. Above all, the alliance is making a dent in Nitish’s traditional voters (Koeri, Kurmi, Dhanuk and Pasmanda Muslims).

We are together! Why are you silent on the lamp: PM

On the other hand, Chirag Paswan, who has been separated from the NDA, has a traditional vote bank of 5 per cent. In addition, the nda vote bank has been in the first phase in the seats where they have fielded candidates against JDU and can continue in the next two phases. In 2015, Lojopa was with the NDA, with a total of 4.8 per cent votes with one seat.

According to 2015 data, GDSF and LJP have a total of about 10 per cent vote banks, but in the current political equation and environment, they can have more than 12 per cent vote banks. If there is a hung assembly, the keys to power can be with these two leaders. The history of the two leaders (Paswan and Kushwaha) has been with both the alliances (JDU-BJP NDA and RJD-Congress UPA).

In a tweet, Rahul described the attack as a result of security lapses and raised the question of who had the most benefit of the attack.

New Delhi: The BJP has taken an aggressive stand against the opposition Congress following a statement by Pakistan Minister Fawad Chowdhury, who claimed responsibility for the Pulwama terror attack. Union Minister Prakash Javadekar has demanded an apology from the Congress over the Pulwama attack. 40 CRPF personnel were martyred in pulwama attack.

After Rahul’s statement, Congress MP BK Hariprasad also made a controversial statement in March. He had said, “… It seems that there was match-fixing with Narendra Modi and the people of Pakistan”. Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh was also criticised for his statement. Javadekar had then said, “What has happened to the Congress is rhetoric against the sentiments of the people. In no country does it happen that the armed forces are distrusted.”

Pakistan Minister Fawad Chowdhury had said on Thursday, “We killed Hindustan in a statement.” However, in a statement to NDTV, Chaudhary said his statement was misrepresented. Pakistan never allows terrorism, my statement was misinterpreted.

BJP President JP Nadda also mentioned a meeting between Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Thursday. The meeting was disclosed in the National Assembly of Pakistan. Qureshi had said at the meeting that if Pakistan does not release wing commander Acclamation Crescent, India will attack by 9 pm.

In a tweet, Nadda said, “Congress princes do not believe in anything Indian, whether it is army, government or civilian. His most trusted country has come from Pakistan. Hopefully they’ll get some information now…”
